Ecumenically is the adverb from ecumenical. You use it when you want to say that something is done in a way that tries to bring the different Christian churches together. A service can be planned ecumenically; people can work ecumenically. Same idea as the adjective, just answering “how?” It is still a formal church word. You will not hear it much in the street, and when you do, it almost always still points at that church-unity meaning, not at “being friendly in general.”
