Ductility is the name of the property: how far a metal — or sometimes another material — can be drawn or pressed into shape without breaking. Engineers talk about the ductility of steel; a science paper will treat it as a measured thing, not a vague compliment. If a metal has high ductility, it can take a lot of pulling and still hold together. It is a classroom and workshop word, not a word for the dinner table.
