A dragster is a car built only for drag races: very short, straight races where two cars start from still and see who is quicker over a set strip. The car is long, narrow and low, with a huge engine, very fat back tyres, and the driver often sitting far back. Some look more like a thin frame with wheels than like a normal car. The word belongs to motorsport talk — informal to neutral, used by racing fans and in sports reports. Drag here is not the creature dragon, and it is not the everyday verb meaning to pull something along the ground. It is the name of that kind of race, from an older American use of drag for a stretch of road. The ending -ster makes a noun for a person or thing of that kind.
