Dough is the soft mix of flour and water, and often other things like eggs or butter, that you make before baking bread, cookies, or pizza. You mix it, then knead it (push and fold it) or let it rise, before it becomes bread. In casual talk, some people also use 'dough' to mean money - this slang use feels a bit old-fashioned now, more from old movies than real life.
