    A dollhouse is a toy house, made small, so that dolls can 'live' in it. Children move tiny beds and tables from room to room. Americans write it as one word: dollhouse. In Britain people more often say doll's house — same thing, just a different shape of the words. Some dollhouses are cheap plastic; some are careful models that adults collect. It is a house for play, not a real house that a doll owns.
