1. 1

Diversely means “in many different ways” or “not all the same.” If a team is diversely talented, the talents are of many kinds, not one shared gift. If people are diversely affected, the effect is not a single effect for everyone. It is the adverb from diverse, so it usually sits with a verb or an adjective it is describing. Though actually, students sometimes want it where they only need “very different,” but they are diversely is not how English says “they are different from each other” — that job belongs to diverse. The word is more at home in careful writing than in chat.
