A dietician is someone trained to advise people on what is healthy to eat and drink. They often work in a hospital or clinic, helping a person who is ill, a person whose blood sugar needs care, or a person who must follow a special diet. This is a job, not a hobby and not a short phase. In British spelling you will see dietician; in American spelling dietitian is more common. Both names point to the same kind of professional. Though actually, ads and social media often say nutritionist for almost anyone who talks about food. That word is looser. A dietician is the one with the long training. They may tell you to eat more, not less; they are not the same as a dieter.
組成Built from diet, with a professional ending of the same family as physician: a person whose work is this. Dietitian is the other common spelling of the same job.
