"Democratically" describes how something is done — in a fair way where everyone involved gets a voice or a vote, the way decisions are made in a democracy (a system where people vote for their leaders or on important issues). "The leader was democratically elected" means people voted for them fairly, not that they took power by force. "We decided democratically" can even apply to small things, like a group of friends voting on where to eat.
