- 1v/delt/處理（deal 的過去式／過去分詞）
The past tense and past participle of deal: used when someone handled a problem or situation at some time before now, or gave out the cards in a card game.
「dealt」是 deal 的過去式，也是過去分詞——deal-dealt-dealt，後面兩個長得一模一樣，所以 I dealt with it、I have dealt with it、It was dealt with 都用同一個 dealt。deal 可以想成「一份一份分出去、一件一件接過來」：發牌（dealt the cards）是把整副牌分給每個人，deal with 就像把一件事接到自己手上處理。日常最常遇到的就是 deal with（處理、應付），這裡的 with 不能省略，不能說 dealt the problem。

This is not a word with meanings of its own — it is the past form of deal. Whatever deal does, dealt does it in the past: the handling of a problem already happened, or the cards were already given out. Note also that its spelling breaks the usual pattern: not 'dealed', and it rhymes with 'felt', not with 'real'.
