Cyberwarfare is the use of the internet to attack a country — for example by causing trouble in trains, power, hospitals, or army computers. It is fighting through networks, not with tanks in the street. People who write about war and government use this word; it feels heavy and official. Though actually, the line is messy. The same strike might be called a crime, spying, or war, depending on who did it and who is talking. Warfare here does not always mean a war that has been declared. You also see cyber warfare as two words.
