Cybersquatting is the act, not the person: registering a company's or a famous person's domain name when you do not own that name in real life, so you can sell it back for profit. The person who does it is a . Lawyers and tech news use the -ing word for the practice as a whole — a pattern of grabbing names, not one click. It sounds formal and accusing. Though actually, dictionaries sometimes blur the person and the act; English keeps them apart the same way singer and singing are apart.
