    Cyberland is a picture-word for life on the internet: not only the machines, but the people and what they do there — talking, shopping, playing, arguing. Land here does not mean soil and hills; it means a kind of country made of activity. Magazines and ads have used it as a friendly way to say “online life.” It is not a technical word, and it is not one website. Though actually, it feels a little dated now. Most people just say online, on the internet, or, if they want a place-word, cyberspace.
