1. 1

Curtained is an adjective. A curtained window or door has a curtain hanging across it. The cloth is there, ready to cover the opening. It does not by itself tell you whether the curtain is pulled shut or pulled open — only that a curtain hangs there. You can also meet a curtained bed in older houses or stories: a bed with cloth around it. This word belongs to curtain, the piece of cloth — not to curtail, which means to reduce something.
