1. 1

A collaborator is someone who works together with another person on something, especially a piece of work — a co-author, a fellow researcher, a creative partner. But the word has a much darker second meaning from history: in wartime, a collaborator is someone from an occupied country who helps the enemy that has taken over, which is seen as a serious betrayal.

    合作者、共同創作者;(貶)通敵者
