- 1代碼共享（航空業也說共掛、共掛班號）
Two airlines can sell seats on the same plane and put both companies’ flight numbers on that one trip. That arrangement is code-sharing. You might buy a ticket from Airline A, with Airline A’s number on the boarding pass, and still walk onto a plane that Airline B is actually flying. The “code” here is the short label of the flight — two letters and a number, like CI 101 — not computer code, though actually that is the mix-up almost everyone makes now, because in English class “code” so often means programming. Airlines do this so they can offer more without buying more planes, and so a booking site can show more times of day. It is business-and-travel English: a little dry on the ticket, quite normal in airport talk. You will also see it written codeshare or code-share. When a ticket says “operated by”, that is often this.
code-sharing 指兩家航空公司共用同一班飛機，各自用自己的班號來賣機位。你可能向 A 航空買票，登機證上是 A 的班號，但實際上搭上的是 B 航空飛的飛機。
這裡的 code 指的是班號的代碼，例如 CI 101 這樣的兩個字母加數字，不是電腦程式碼。很多人一聽到 code 就想到程式，所以容易混淆。航空公司這樣做，是為了在不買新飛機的情況下增加航線，也讓訂票網站能顯示更多時段。
這是商務和旅遊的用語，在機票上看起來比較生硬，但在機場的對話裡很常見。如果機票上寫著 operated by，通常就是指這種情況。
