1. 1

Clubbable means easy and pleasant in company: you talk well, you relax with other people, you would fit in at a club. This is the old gentlemen’s club — a quiet room, membership, talk over drinks — not a nightclub with dancing. The word feels British, a little old, a little . You are more likely to meet it in books, or in a joke about that old world, than in a young person’s everyday mouth. You may also see the spelling clubable. It is a compliment of a dry kind: not “”, but “good to sit with”.

    善於交際的、好相處的(偏英式、偏舊,指適合進俱樂部那種,不是跑夜店)
