Campanology is the study of bells and the skill of ringing them. In England this often means change ringing: several church bells rung in long, careful patterns, more like music-and-maths than like tapping a dinner bell. People who study it also care how bells are cast, tuned, and hung so they do not crack. It is a specialist, slightly academic word. The people who actually pull the ropes more often say ringing or bell-ringing. You would not use it for a bicycle bell, a doorbell, or the little bell on a shop counter.
鐘學;敲鐘術(研究鐘、鑄鐘與敲鐘的學問)。台灣日常幾乎不說。
