    A brat is a child who behaves badly — rude, demanding, always complaining, or used to getting everything they want. It's an informal, word, so you'd use it when you're or joking, not as a neutral description. "Spoiled brat" is a very common combination, describing a child (or sometimes even an adult acting childishly) who has been given too much and never learned to accept "no."
