BO is an informal way to say that someone's body smells unpleasant because of sweat. The letters stand for body (British spelling) or body (American spelling). People use it in everyday talk, often with a little embarrassment or a joke: I think I have BO. It is not the word a doctor would write on a chart — they would say body , or name a medical problem. BO usually means the sour smell of sweat on skin and clothes after heat or exercise, not perfume and not bad breath. You say the two letters, B-O. It can sound a bit blunt, so people sometimes it, but everyone knows what it means.
