A bioterrorist is a person who uses bacteria, viruses, or similar living agents to attack people and to push a political aim — the person who carries out bioterrorism. News also uses it as a describing word: a bioterrorist attack, bioterrorist threats. The act is bioterrorism; the -ist is the person (or the adjective for that kind of attack). It is a formal, news word. Though actually, writers sometimes slap bioterrorist on anyone linked to dangerous , even when the political-fear piece is unclear. A scientist who studies anthrax is not a bioterrorist. The word is about using those as a terror weapon, not about biology itself.
生物恐怖分子;(形容詞)生物恐怖攻擊的
組成bio- (life) + terrorist. The -ist often means “a person who does this.” Same pieces also give the adjective.
