Beatifically is the adverb of . If someone smiles beatifically, they smile with that deep, peaceful happiness — as if nothing could trouble them. If they nod beatifically, the nod has that same calm, almost holy quiet. The word is literary. You will find it in novels and news writing more than in speech. It often goes with smile, look, gaze, or nod. It does not mean 'beautifully,' and it does not mean 'in a beating way.'
