This is the adjective for archaeology: the study of ancient human societies by looking at what they left behind — buildings, graves, tools, pots, and so on. If a find, a site, or a piece of evidence is archaeological, it belongs to that work or was read in that way. You will meet it in “archaeological site,” “archaeological evidence,” “archaeological museum.” Though actually, people sometimes stick it on anything very old as a joke (“this chair is archaeological”); that is stretching it. The study is about people and the things people made, not mostly about dinosaurs. British spelling keeps the ae (archaeological); American English often archeological. Both name the same kind of study.

組成From archaeology + -al (“of or relating to”). Archaeology itself is from Greek arkhaios, “ancient” (from arkhē, “beginning”) + -logia, “study.”
