Anthropological is the adjective for anthropology: the scientific study of people, the groups they live in, and the cultures they make. An anthropological study watches how real people eat, marry, work, believe, and change. You will see it in university writing and in documentaries: “anthropological research,” “an anthropological view of family life.” It is not a fancy way to say “about humans.” A doctor studying the heart is also studying humans, but that work is not anthropological. The extra idea is culture and social life, not only the body. It feels formal; it belongs to the classroom, the museum, and the journal, not to casual chat.
