Anatomical means about the way a body is built — the bones, muscles, organs, and how they fit. An anatomical drawing shows the inside of a person or an animal. Doctors, art students, and biology teachers need this word. Though actually, it does not mean very detailed or scientific in a general way. A long report can be detailed without being anatomical. People do say anatomically correct for a doll or model that matches a real body; that set phrase is where many first meet the family. Anatomical itself stays close to the body as a structure. It is a school and clinic word, not a kitchen-table word.

anatomic（解剖的）加 -al（形容詞字尾）。
組成Greek ana- (up, apart) + temnein (to cut) → anatomē (a cutting-up) → anatomy, then + -ical (of that kind).
