核心畫面

You can picture yourself standing in the middle of a crowd, with people on every side of you — not next to one thing, but surrounded by many. That single picture of 'inside a group, with the group all around' is what every other use of among grows from: being counted as one of the crowd, a feeling that spreads through the crowd, picking one out of the crowd, or splitting something up across the crowd.
