    Abominably is how you do something, or how something is, when it is extremely unpleasant or of very bad quality. Someone who behaves abominably treats people terribly; a room that is abominably hot is not a bit warm, but so. Like , it is strong and a little dramatic — more at home in a story or a sharp complaint than in quiet everyday chat.
