An abductee is the person who has been taken away by force — not the one who does the taking. The little ending -ee means "the person this happens to", the same idea as employee (the person who is employed) or interviewee (the person who is interviewed). You will see abductee in newspapers and in writing about crime. Plain English often says the victim or, with kidnap, the kidnap victim. Though actually, abductee also lives in a stranger, almost jokey world: an "alien abductee" is someone who says they were taken by beings from space. People may say that with a straight face or with a smile; it is not the same as a police report. Never use abductee for the criminal. That person is the abductor.
