In movies and stories, a zombie is a dead body that has come back to life but has no mind of its own — it just walks slowly and wants to attack living people. People also use the word for a living person who looks or acts almost dead — very tired, moving slowly, not really thinking, like 'I was a total zombie after the night shift.'
殭屍;(口語)像行屍走肉一樣疲憊的人
組成The word comes from West African and Haitian Creole beliefs about the dead being brought back without a soul; it entered English through Haitian tradition.
