Wickerwork means things made by weaving wicker — baskets, chair seats, screens, trays — and also the craft and the woven surface itself. It is uncountable. You can use it for the whole class of objects ("a shop selling wickerwork"), for the technique ("she learned wickerwork from her mother"), or for the woven part of one thing ("the wickerwork on this chair is coming loose"). It feels more formal and more written than plain wicker; museums, craft books and auction catalogues use it, while at home people just say "a basket" or "a wicker chair". If you are unsure which to use, wicker before a noun is almost always the safer, more natural choice.
