Whiskey is a strong alcoholic drink made from grain, usually aged in wooden barrels for a long time. Though actually — you'll see it spelled two ways: 'whiskey' (used in Ireland and the USA) and 'whisky' (used in Scotland, Canada, and Japan). Both are the same kind of drink; it's just a spelling difference by country.
