Webology is the study of the World Wide Web itself: how big it is, what is on it, how pages link to each other, and what those links can tell us. A researcher in this field might ask which sites everyone links to, how information spreads from page to page, or how the shape of the whole web changes over time. The '-ology' ending marks it as a field of study, like biology or psychology. But be careful: this is not a common everyday word, and it is not a normal university subject you can go and in. It appears mostly in library science and information science writing, and there is a journal with this name. Most researchers doing this work would call it web science, webometrics, or network analysis instead. So for a student, the useful thing is the shape of the word rather than the word itself: '-ology' on the end means 'the study of', and once you see that, you can guess dozens of English words.
