You meet it most in shops, catalogues, and instruction manuals: a wall-mounted air , a wall-mounted TV, a wall-mounted fan, a wall-mounted heater. The word carries the idea that it was put there properly, with screws or a bracket — not just leaning or hanging on a nail. It is a compound adjective, so it almost always sits in front of the noun, and it is usually there. You can also say a thing "is wall-mounted" after the verb be. There is a whole family built the same way — ceiling-mounted, floor-mounted, pole-mounted — so once you know this one you can read the others. It sounds a little technical or commercial; in a normal chat you would just say "on the wall".
