Varsity is an American English word for the main, top team representing a school or college in a sport — the best team, as opposed to the 'junior varsity', a slightly lower level team, often for younger or less experienced students. You'll hear it a lot in American high school and college life, as in 'the varsity football team.'
校隊、主力隊(美式英語,指學校裡等級最高的運動代表隊)
組成Shortened from 'university' — it used to mean the university team specifically, then spread to high schools too.
