"Urbanization" is the big, ongoing process of more and more people moving from the countryside into cities, and cities growing bigger and more crowded as a result. You'll meet this word a lot in geography, economics, and news about developing countries, where huge numbers of people move to cities looking for jobs. It describes a large-scale, long-term social change - not something happening to just one person or one building.
組成"Urban" (relating to cities, from Latin "urbs," a city) + "-ization" (the process of becoming something) - so, "the process of becoming city-like."
