Unworthy usually describes a person feeling that they do not deserve something good - love, praise, a prize, or trust. 'He felt unworthy of her forgiveness' means he didn't feel he deserved it. It can also describe something not serious or important enough to deserve attention, though this use sounds more formal and old-fashioned.
