Unskilled describes work that does not need special training, or a person who does not have special training or a particular skill. 'Unskilled labor' is a common phrase in economics and news — it means jobs that most people could learn to do quickly, without years of study. This word is neutral in dictionaries but can sound a little harsh about a person, so people are often more careful when talking about workers than about jobs.
