In a way that is so strange, so exact, or so beyond ordinary explanation that it gives you a small chill. This is the adverb of uncanny, and in real English it does most of its work in one narrow place: in front of words about likeness and accuracy. Uncannily similar, uncannily accurate, uncannily like his father, uncannily good at guessing. There it means the match is too close to feel like chance — you notice it and something in you goes quiet. It also modifies verbs in the same spirit: the machine uncannily predicted every answer. What it does NOT mean is simply "very." Uncannily accurate is not just "very accurate"; it is accurate in a way that you a little. Keep that flicker of strangeness and you will use the word correctly. A note on register: it is a written, educated word. In everyday talk people say scarily similar, or creepily accurate, or just "it's kind of freaky how alike they are." Reach for uncannily when you are writing, or when you want the sentence to sound thoughtful rather than casual.
