A turnaround is a complete change from a bad situation to a good one, especially in business — a company that was losing money and then becomes successful has had a turnaround. There's a second, completely different everyday meaning too: the turnaround time is how long it takes to finish a job and get it back to the person who asked for it — 'the turnaround for photo printing is 24 hours'. Context usually makes it obvious which meaning is meant.
