Titty is a very informal, rude word for a woman's breast, usually used in the plural, titties. It belongs to the same family as tit, and the -y ending makes it sound childish or joking rather than softer — it is still crude. You will hear it in songs, comedy, and rough talk among friends, and it appears in insults and set phrases. It is not a word for the classroom, the office, a doctor's visit, or writing of any kind. The neutral word is breast; doctors and polite conversation use that. should know this word only so that they recognise it and know to avoid it — hearing it in a song is not permission to say it.
