Two things, joined. First, a person: Titian (about 1490–1576) was one of the greatest painters of Venice, in Italy. He painted religious pictures, portraits of kings and popes, and scenes from Greek and Roman myths, and he is famous above all for colour — deep reds, warm skin, glowing cloth. Second, a colour word taken from his paintings: 'titian' hair is a rich reddish-brown or orange-red, the colour of the hair he so often painted on women. In this colour sense it is used mostly about hair, sounds slightly literary or old-fashioned, and appears in novels more than in speech. Note the capital letter for the painter; the colour word is written both ways. The English pronunciation is 'TISH-un' — two — not like the Italian 'Tiziano'.
組成A person's name used as a word. Italian 'Tiziano' → English 'Titian'. The colour is named after the painter because that shade of red-brown hair appears again and again in his pictures.
