, angry — mostly American, informal, a polite-enough way to say a stronger word. Usually 'be/get ticked off', and 'at' someone: 'she's ticked off at me'. Though actually, be careful in Britain: British 'tick someone off' means to them, tell them off — a different thing. The American 'annoyed' meaning is the one you'll meet most.
