A teenybopper is a young teenage girl — roughly nine to fourteen — who is very caught up in pop music, pop stars, and whatever clothes and styles teenagers are wearing that year. It is a noun for a person, and it carries an attitude: the person saying it is usually an adult, usually a bit amused, and often a bit dismissive, as if to say 'she screams at concerts and will grow out of it'. So it is not a neutral label, and you would rarely use it about someone to their face. The word is also dated. It belongs to the 1960s and 70s, when it was everywhere in newspapers writing about pop fans; today you are far more likely to hear 'fangirl', or simply 'teenage fans'. When it does appear now, it is often about the music rather than the person — 'teenybopper music', 'a teenybopper band' meaning a band aimed at young teenage girls. Note the sexism baked into it: nobody calls a boy a teenybopper, and the word quietly treats girls' enthusiasm as silly in a way boys' enthusiasm for, say, football never is. Worth knowing when you read older writing, worth using carefully yourself.
