A sunroof sunroof is a panel in the roof of a car是車頂上的一片板子 that can be opened or slid back可以被打開或往後滑開, so that air and light come in from above讓空氣和光線從上面進來. Some有些 slide open是用滑的打開, some有些 only tilt up at the back只是後面掀起來一點, and some而有些 are made of glass so light comes through even when they are shut是玻璃做的,所以就算關著光也照得進來.
In car advertisements you will also meet moonroof (an American word, usually for the glass kind) and panoramic sunroof (a big one stretching over the back seats too) — for everyday talk, sunroof covers them all. It is one word, and it is countable: a sunroof, two sunroofs.
In car advertisements在汽車廣告裡 you你 will also meet moonroof還會遇到 moonroof (an American word一個美式用法, usually for the glass kind通常指玻璃那種) and panoramic sunroof還有 panoramic sunroof (a big one stretching over the back seats too一種很大、連後座上方也蓋到的天窗) — for everyday talk在日常說法裡, sunroof covers them all sunroof這個字全部都包括了. It它是 is one word一個字, and it is countable而且是可數的: a sunroof, two sunroofs一個 sunroof、兩個 sunroofs.
Note that we say a car 'has a sunroof' and that you 'open' or 'close' it, and that the roof of a house does not have one — this word belongs to cars.
Note that請注意 we say a car 'has a sunroof'我們會說一輛車「有天窗」 and that you 'open' or 'close' it而且你「打開」或「關上」它, and that the roof of a house does not have one而房子的屋頂不會有這個東西 — this word belongs to cars這個字是專屬於汽車的.
