    Stalked is the past form of the verb 'stalk'. It has two very different meanings. First, to stalk a person means to follow them secretly, again and again, in a way that scares or threatens them — this is a serious word now, and it can even be a crime. Second, to stalk somewhere means to walk in a stiff, angry, proud way, like a big cat hunting — 'she stalked out of the room' means she left looking angry, with big proud steps.

組成From 'stalk' + '-ed' (past tense). 'Stalk' as a noun also means the stem of a plant, but the verb sense here (to follow or hunt) grew out of old hunting language — you stalk an animal quietly before catching it.
