1. 1

A speedway is a track built for racing, usually motorcycles or cars, going around in an oval shape at high speed. It's also the name of the sport itself - watching riders race motorcycles around a short dirt track, sliding around the corners. In some places, 'Speedway' is simply part of the name of a real racetrack, like the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
