A soybean is a small, round bean grown from the soybean plant. It's one of the most useful beans in the world - people use it to make , soy milk, soy sauce, and cooking oil. It's also a very important food for farm animals. Soybeans are high in protein, so they're a popular food for vegetarians and vegans too.
