    Slavishness is the noun: the habit or quality of obeying, supporting, or copying someone completely, with no thought of your own. It carries the same as slavishly. A film may be blamed for slavishness to the book — it copies every scene but has no life. A government may be blamed for slavishness to an old idea. It is a formal word, more at home in reviews and serious writing than in everyday chat. Though actually, it is not as common as the adverb; many people will say “blind copying” or “blind obedience” instead, and mean the same thing.
