The past form of 'send': made something go from one place or person to another.
sent 是 send 的過去式和過去分詞，所以它本身不是新單字，而是 send 在「已經發生」時的樣子。send 是把東西、訊息或人「送往別處」；sent 就是這個動作已經做完了，例如 I send a letter（現在）變成 I sent a letter yesterday（昨天寄了）。完成式也用 sent：have sent（已經寄出）。

You can think of sent simply as the past form of send: it's send with the action already finished. The picture is the same — making something move from one place or person to another — only now it has already happened.
