    Seasickness is the name of that ill feeling you get because a boat is moving. Seasick is how you feel; seasickness is the thing itself. People take tablets for seasickness, talk about a bad case of it, or say a crossing is known for seasickness. It is a plain word in travel and everyday talk — not slang, not stiff. The feeling often once you stand on land again, though for some people it stays a little. You can have a little seasickness or a lot.
