Rowdiness is the noun: the noisy, rough behaviour itself, or the feel of a crowd that is getting out of hand. Teachers, police, and newspapers like this word — “rowdiness after the game” — because it names a problem without yet naming a crime. It is a little more formal than just saying people were being rowdy, but it is still an ordinary word, not a technical one. It always shows . Though actually, what counts as rowdiness depends on who is watching: the same shouting that feels like fun among friends can look like rowdiness to a neighbour trying to sleep.
